Artist Statement

I have no clever, witty, deep, incomprehensible, mystical artistic statement to share with you.  Like the many I paint because I have always painted from the beginning of   life itself. I never questioned or explained why I painted.  I simply painted for the expression of it.  I became a still photographer, an internationally known filmmaker, but still I am a painter.  One is not who they say they are.  One is what they do.   What I do is put the uniqueness of what I see and feel in an amalgamated  image that can be thought about and discovered.
